Sharing Chats

Chats can be shared with anyone with a link (Premium Plan or higher).

This feature is useful if you:

• Have a team operating off of the same set of documents, and they all want to query the same set of documents. E.g., an insurance team wanting to query the same set of insurance policies
• Are a teacher with a class of students and want them to chat with a specific set of course materials

Things to know:

• Link recipients do not need a Socrates account to chat
• Currently, each link supports an unlimited number of recipients who can chat an unlimited number of times
• Each recipient will have access to all documents in the chat
• Link recipients will not be able to start Deep Dive.
• Link recipients can utilize Deep Dive on the chat if the chat owner completes a Deep Dive for the chat.
• Link recipients' chats are only available to the individual recipient (chat is stored on their local browser) and not shared among everyone
• While chats are not currently synced, the Table & Prompt Loops are synced for all users.
• Link recipients will be able to run Prompt Loops, which will use up chat owner's quota.
• Link recipients will be able to edit the Table (shared among all users in the chat)
